We were in our house in Carmel Wales, when we noticed how clear a night it was with all the stars we could see. So we decided to go up the hill to a lovely field I had seen earlier to get a better view away from any street lights. It was about midnight, but we decided we would have a picnic so we made some sarnies and a flask of tea, and off we went up the hill and sat against a stone wall. We were having a great time looking at the stars from high up. There were millions of them in an inky black sky with just a large moon for light. Wow! Then it began! we could both hear some heavy breathing. We were out in the darkness on our own and nobody knew we were up here, we both looked at each other, thoughts of the beast like a black panther that was supposed to be roaming the area came into our heads and we went rigid. The breathing got louder then we could feel hot breath on the back of our heads we were too scared to move suddenly a big slurpy tongue licked the back of your head, we both turned to see a line of cows looking over the wall at us. We screamed and ran like feck downhill. When we got back home and could breathe again we laughed so much that tears would not stop for ages. We tried to sleep but we just kept giggling all night, you said stop giggling then a few minutes later you would start, and it went on like that all night. We went back in daylight for the flask, but the sarnies were gone! Oh happy days.
